Sarita Cloth

Sarita cloth is a shawl that is used in ritual ceremonies in Toraja. This cloth is decorated with motifs of leaves, circles, discs, kawung-like shapes, and animal-like shapes zodiac. In traditional ceremonies, the light-colored cloth is considered brings good luck and used in a joyous ceremonies such as a wedding or the birth of a baby.
