Weston Park
Weston-under-Lizard, United Kingdom

The Shrewsbury Lodge marks the end of the west approach to the House at Weston Park, at the point where the drive meets the public road. The building was almost certainly designed by the architect James Paine. Originally the drive ran on the other side of the simple classical building, but when the route of the public roads was altered in the early nineteenth century, the building was retained but its former front became its back elevation. The building was further altered in the latter nineteenth century when the single storey pedimented portico was added. A lodge of similar design, the Lichfield Lodge, stands at the eastern end of the park
