One full repeat, part of another. Arabesque design of Pompeian inspiration. Printed in orange, red, blue and green on pale blue ground. Base: central fan-shape with classical ornament, on which two classically-draped figures sit, flanking urn from which large bouquet rises. Forming borders at edges of this segment in two narrow vertical lines: flowering plants, birds. Above, flanked by large red carnations, gazebo-like enframement for six dancing Putti before fountain, trees. "Gazebo" topped by eagle and two winged, draped females holding ends of garlands which rise to form three swags attached to base line of repeat above.
