Silk Woven with Bellflower Pattern

This fabric woven with bellflower pattern is based on a pattern seen on the chima worn by court ladies in the 1900s in the collection of the Museum of Kyunggi Girls’ High School and produced in 2014 with funding from the Hanbok Advancement Center. The bellflower pattern is inside a large circle. A three-dimensional effect was created by various, very exquisite weaving techniques.
