A rectangular sugar bowl supported on four feet, each ending in lion’s paws. The sides of the body are slightly bulging, decorated with stamped ornamentation featuring high acanthus leaves alternated with campanula flowers. A secondary finial in the form of a seated, winged cherub. On the underside of the sugar bowl, there are maker's marks including the city name “Kalisch,” the silversmith's name “Schaube,” and the silver assay mark of "12" (in grains). The finial bears the hallmark of the Viennese silversmith Franz Rumwolf’s workshop, with the imperial assay mark of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, showing a hound's head and the letter “A,” along with the number “3” indicating the silver content.
