The tazza is supported by a nine-sided base. The stem takes the form of a large, fully modeled figure of a sitting swan with an S-shaped neck and wings raised upwards. The secondary, round, shallow bowl is made of cut crystal glass with a serrated, eight-petaled rim. On the base's surface, the silversmith’s marks are engraved, indicating the silver assay in "11" lots, the craftsman's name, and the city of origin.
