Through these pieces, as if they were parts of the same body, I present matter and volume. As a result of studies on the strength exercised upon the material, willing to tension to the limit, as if they were dense liquids that spill over their own capacity. Gravity, weight, and tensions are presented in a search for some instable balance: the body that weighs and the torsions, many times looking solid and closed, slowly fall like a dense and organic calm. The research on matter mix with my own curiosity on human bodies and their relationship with the creation of rules, like a way to standardize behaviors, reinforcing sanctions, where the collective imagery symbolically establishes what is a body and how it must be represented, thus showing how those social representations of the bodies generate power mechanisms.
