Among the noble houses of Provesende, the Solar dos Beleza stands out for its urban and even palatial character. Built in the 18th century, in the centre of the town, by Manuel José de Morais Sarmento, the two façades boast carefully crafted and decorated granite frames. On the entrance facing east, the main façade bears the stone of arms and the desire to maintain balance and symmetry in the construction is clear. As is common in the manor houses of the region, the ground floor is intended for storage and wine and olive presses, while the upper floor, the truly noble floor, provides accommodation and leisure spaces.
