Sonar Image of Shipwreck

In 2007, while conducting a systematical survey of the seabed of Xlendi, in Gozo (Malta), a sonar anomaly was detected. This target turned out to be the remains of an archaic Phoenician shipwreck dating to the 7th century BC, laying exposed on the seabed at more than 100 meters of depth.
