Sport Club Penafiel (SCP) Lapela emblem

Sport Club de Penafiel was founded on 4/17/1923. In 1943 he merged as the Penafidelense Sports Union (founded in 1933), giving rise to the Penafiel Sports Club (1943-1949). In 1951, after two years of the absence of a sports club representing the city, FC Penafiel appears. The colors (red and black) and the emblem (the shield with the eagle with the ball in the foot) that adopted are from the former Sport Club of Penafiel.
