“Warrior on a Thousand-Mile Journey” is one of the stories in “Romance of the Three Kingdoms,” a renowned Chinese literary work. Liu Bei, Zhang Fei, and Guan Yu lost the battle at Xuzhou. Guan Yu was forced to seek refuge with Cao Cao, taking Liu’s wives with him. When later he heard that Liu and Zhang were at an old town in Hebei, Guan decided to escort Liu’s wives to reunite with him. As they forced their way through five security passes, Guan had to take down six of Cao Cao’s generals. Guan and Liu’s wives were ultimately reunited with Liu.
The character on the left with the red face is Guan Yu, and the character on the right is Cai Yang, one's Cao Cao’s warrior generals. The two warriors face off against each other in an impressive display of power and skill.
