The installation "Semelhanças Subterrâneas", created especially to participate in the 25th São Paulo International Biennial (2002), concerns the memories, disasters and the awakening of consciousness brought about by these events. The surreal touch, sometimes comical and philosophical, is natural in the experiments of the gaucho artist based in Curitiba Carina Weidle.
