Supplement to the Regulations of the Royal Funeral Rites

A regulation book about the funeral ritual edited by Gyehee Hong(1703-1771) in 1758 (Year 34 of Yeongjo). In the first part of the book are Yeongjo’s writing, Jaero Kim’s Bonggyojeonseo, and Man Shin’s Bonggyohuseo. It was published to supplement three books; 『Gukjo oryeui』 of early Joseon period, 『Gukjo sokoryeui』(1744) which was a supplementary book to it, and 『Gukjo sokoryeuibo』(1751). This book set a standard for the national funeral ritual of late Joseon period until 『Daehan Yejeon』 was issued under Korean Empire.
