Refettorios aim to build healthy and equitable food systems through creative programming that demonstrates the value of ingredients at different stages of their lifespan, and the importance of a food system that is fair and just. We do this by building unique teams and programs that offer creative solutions to global food wastage. Core community players can include food interception organizations, companies and growers, volunteers, individual donors, chefs, and more. Our goal to create a culture that values the ingredients around us, through the transformation process that happens in each Refettorio.
