Stapled children's comic book with a cartoon called Well-trained dog (Perro Bien Amaestrado) printed in color on the front cover.
Joaquín Buigas Garriga bought the magazine TBO (1917) and edited it in his own style—some editions brought notable success. During this classic period in the world of comics, the main collaborating comic artists were Donaz, Urda, Rapsomanikis, Opisso, and Nit. TBO was so popular that the term tebeo was generalized to refer to any children's comic in Spain, and the term is recognized by the Real Academia Española (Spain's official institution in charge of compiling the dictionary of the Spanish language).
