Woodcut printing with black ink. A multitude of male figures is depicted, which are tilted to the ground or lying on the ground in the foreground, while in the background they are upright. The men's faces are turned to the sky. Their facial expression is suggesting emotions of pain and suffering. Some figures raise their hands to the sky while on the left of the artefact a man covers his face with his hands. On the right-hand side in the background you can see a priest with a black clerical robe holding a cross. On two hills in the background, on the left and on the right, soldiers with rifles are depicted, aiming toward the crowd. In the background and in the centre you furthermore can distinguish buildings, most probably going up in flames. "Test-1945 " is written in the bottom left-hand corner of the artwork, while the right-hand side bears the name of the artist.
