The Alderman Incident

Saturday 13 November became Black Saturday when Terry Alderman was injured during the Test match against England at the WACA Ground. A ground invasion inflamed a premeditated action when a spectator struck Terry Alderman. In response he chased and tackled the offender resulting in a serious shoulder injury which led to Terry Alderman being stretchered from the ground.
