The inventor Elisabeth Gagnemyhr wanted to give her brother flowers when he was in hospital. But she wasn't allowed to bring them because some people in hospitals are allergic to flowers. Elisabeth made a vase that wouldn't spread the smell of flowers. The vase is hermetically sealed, like a globe, so it is safe for persons suffering from allergies.

Later Elisabeth realised that her invention could be used for many other things, for example as a moneybox, a servingdish, a terrarium, a gift box, a miniature greenhouse and an aquarium.

The All Globe is a registered trademark and was sold by Bikema on Gotland.
