The Education of the Virgin of the Rubens, one of the most classic works of the master, is preserved in the Royal Museum of the Belle
Arts of Antwerp, n. 306. It comes from the church of the Discalced Carmelites of the city, where it adorned the right aisle.
In the same church was the Saint Teresa who intercedes for the soul of Bernardino de Mendoza, (see page 247-10) engraved work
also from Bolswert. The Education of the Virgin was very popular and other copies were obtained from the engraving of Bolswert.
