Józef Choynowski (1833–1914) - archaeologist and collector. He gathered a rich archaeological collection, which he bequeathed to the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Currently, it is part of the collections of, among others The National Museum in Warsaw, the National Museum in Poznań and the State Archaeological Museum.
