For random reasons, the dancer Danuta Kwapiszewska had to abandon the discipline that was her greatest passion. She transferred the need for artistic expression to sculptures that were to "dance after her", created after the loss of the leg efficiency. Her dancers made of wire, sheet metal, plastic or clay make a great impression on us, they look as if they were in motion - their author, like hardly any professional sculptor, understood the essence of dance and kinetics.
