To give visitors to the Rally Grounds an idea of what was to come, in 1937 a full-scale wooden model of the façade of the Congress Hall, 56 meters wide and 40 meters high, was set up next to the site of the hall. The Congress Hall was only one of several structures that the National Socialists began building for their Party Rallies in Nuremberg in 1933.
