The proposal to adopt the Convent of San Francesco, came from the idea that,
in the school world , a context of life long education must necessarily aim at respect and protection of the historical and artistic heritage of the territory. The project was also born from the recognition of the central role that the School plays in the cultural training of young people in general and, specifically, its function as a privileged place in which they are educated in the recognition of the social value of Cultural Heritage. In this way everyone can become aware of the importance of the historical-artistic heritage of the territory in which he lives. Our monument assumes a symbolic meaning and becomes an important instrument by which, through its study, the student can acquire and be aware of the cultural heritage of his country.
