The Crypt of the Collegiate

The crypt of the collegiate church of Pastrana is another artistic and historical highlight. Right below its high altar, we can find the underground pantheon crypt with the remains of the dukes of Pastrana and numerous notable relatives of the Mendoza lineage. The tombs, set in pairs on both sides of the aisle are marked with epitaphs.
