Caricature of José Jara Aguilar, doorman of the National Library of Peru. On May 11, 1950, the library offered a reception, attended by the Minister of Public Education, in homage to this modest official, an irreproachable employee who fulfilled 50 years of uninterrupted service in the institution.
This caricature was made by Julio Malaga Grenet (Arequipa, 1886 - Lima, 1963), a prolific artist who stood out as a key figure in the development of graphic art at the beginning of the 20th century.
