Arimatsu dye crafts are fine cotton fabrics which have been tie-died in red and indigo, and are used to make cotton kimonos and towels. Arimatsu was located in front of Narumi station; it is said there were at least ten shops there selling Arimatsu dye crafts. The finished products are hung on display along the highway, and shopkeepers greet customers who are looking over the goods.
