Hardcover school book covered in illustrated printed paper. The author, Joaquín Pla, wrote a prologue for the reader stating his belief that Geography and the Natural Sciences were interlinked—geography was a living thing to be learned. This gave a global approach to studying geography as opposed to studying it in isolation. The author wrote this book as a complementary resource for studying geography. It was essentially a series of geographical readings that supplemented the teaching of geography.
