The fall of the Horse

The rampant horse is an heraldic emblem that has been always a symbol of vital force, elegance and energy; in this composition, Crocetti turns over this classic figure portraying a terrible fall, maintaining however the grace of the opposite position. The boost of the body, in the unsuccessful attempt at regaining its balance, has the same energy as a surge, and the front legs outstretched in the void fulfill the movement of lively energy.
