The First Xlendi Projects

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, groups of rsearchers travelled to Gozo from the UK. Over a number of years, these groups mapped part of the seabed under the Xlendi tower. They also raised a number of objects were recovered - some of these are on display at the Gozo Museum of Archeology in the Citadel, Rabat.
