The foundation of the "Bishop's Castle"

View from the tower of St. Peter's Church on the excavation site of the Bischofsburg ("Bishop's Castle") in 1962/65. The ring of the foundation is unique in Hamburg and was, therefore, integrated in the later building development. It is now an attraction of the outpost Speersort of the Archaeological Museum of Hamburg.
