It is a genealogy published under Korean Empire which records the immediate royal descendants. It writes direct families of Yi of Jeonju family and the main works of the past kings. A separate book appended to it is the genealogy of the king’s ancestors of up to the 8th generation. Three kinds of 『Gukjobocheop』 are found today which were published under Yeongjo, Heonjong and Gojong. This particular book is assumed to have been published in 1907 since it contains the change of an era reign name “Yunghee”. It records posthumous names of the king and the queen, his majesty’s birth, death, tomb, and the names of the princes and princesses.
