There are two shrines worshipping the god of earth near the two ends of Wai Chai Main Street, They are such located so as to mark the village's boundary for protection by God of Earth. With the convenient locations along the main access of Pokfulam Village, the villagers could easily worship the God of Earth as they leave or return to the village every day. It is believed that they were built over a hundred years ago, although the exact construction year is unknown.
