The House at Weston Park seen from across the parkland

Capability Brown's vision at Weston Park, as in all of his landscapes, was to make the House an important centrepiece within the park. Here, the east front can be seen from across the park with the west pleasure ground's trees behind the House serving as a foil to emphasise its presence.
