The painting shows a fragment of the interior of St. Peter and Paul before the reconstruction in the years 1892–1894. The western part of the northern aisle is shown, with a richly decorated wooden gallery on the right side, to which stone stairs lead from the floor level. On the left, there are three storeys of wooden galleries, more modestly decorated, with wooden stairs leading to individual levels. In the foreground, various types of equipment, benches, chairs and other objects seem to be arranged quite randomly.
Signature in the bottom center: Blätterbauer, Liegnitz 1889
