The neuron cage

Scars has the power to decorate a perfect – but “empty” – work of art with the stories of people who have been deeply marked and whose human beauty really comes from their difference and from the complexity of the “faults” on their body and in their spirit.
My Venus represents the clash between my rational and emotional sides. Very often, to be in company or to be able to face difficulties, the rational part – represented by the blue brain – tries to dominate the emotional part – the red heart. This sometimes allows us to bear the pain better or to make rational and thoughtful choices. But at the same time, it puts the heart in a cage and crushes it, so that we don’t show emotions that we think are inappropriate.
This rational behaviour many times holds me back and makes me suffer. That’s my very own scar.
