Susanne Lagerqvist worked as a nurse taking care of people who had injuries in their noses. Nurses used to rinse the patient's nose after surgery to prevent further complications. But there wasn't any efficient way to rinse the nose, which at the same time was comfortable for the patient.

Together with a fellow worker Susanne made Nasaline, a syringe which is easy to use, and which has a special mouthpiece of silicone. Susanne got her patent on her nose rinse in 2001 and started the company EntPro.

Today, Nasaline is used in medical care and sold by chemists throughout Sweden. Nasaline has also been sold to the USA, Asia and to the rest of Europe.
