Touring the permanent "Fascination and Terror" exhibition, visitors pass through nineteen unfinished rooms measuring between 20 and 450 square meters. The exhibition is designed to harmonize closely with Günther Domenig's architectural language. Informational displays tilt away from the walls, and asymmetric spatial features interrupt the spaces' rectangular lines. The Congress Hall, in its unfinished state, is visible everywhere as an exhibit in its own right. The exhibition spaces were originally conceived primarily as caretakers' apartments, but were never finished.
