The Porto Coliseum

Located in Rua Passos Manuel, the Porto Coliseum was designed by architect Cassiano Branco (1897-1970) and opened in 1941. While its exterior façade displays a modernist style, the interior explores the sense of the motion and movement of the audience, in a theatrically scenic entrance lobby that leads into the large concert hall.
