The portrait of Johann Joseph Ossendorf

Portrait of Johann Joseph Ossendorf, papermaker and owner of the paper mill in Duszniki in 1772-1779.

Half-figure, en face. The portrayed man, wearing a black frock coat, holds a scroll of paper in his left hand, and his right hand rests on the keyboard of the clavichord on which an open album with sheet music is visible. On the left side of the painting there is a window with flowers on the windowsill, on the right side a fragment of a maroon curtain.

At the bottom of the picture a plaque with the inscription: "Joseph Ossendorff gebürtig von Benssen, der Zweite Königl = Hoff / Pappiermacher, alt 46 Jahr, gestorben den 1. January Anno 1779 ″.
