The Primary School of Kalavryta, constructed at the beginning of the 20th century with a donation of the Greek benefactor Andreas Sygros, who had bequeathed to the Greek State a big sum of money in 1897 for the construction of school buildings. It is typical four-class school with neoclassic morphological features and a specific typology. It was built according to the first state programme for the construction of school buildings, which was configured by the lawmaker of the Ministry of education Dimitrios Kallias and was enacted by a royal law in 1895. It had a spacious yard and it only neighboured the building of the railway station. During the 2nd World War its operation was interrupted. It was used as a Military Camp by Italian Occupation Forces and on 13th of December 1943 it was burnt down completely from a fire that was set by German occupation forces. In 1986 it was identified as a historical preserved monument by the Ministry of Culture and since January 2005 houses the Municipal Museum of Kalavryta's holocaust.
