The Primary School

The building of the Primary School was cpmpletly destroyed on December 13th 1943 from a fire that was set by German Occupation forces during the "Operation Kalavryta". Inside this building the German Occupation forces assempled the citizens of Kalavryta and separate the families, women and children were locked for several hours while men and teenagers were led to a place which today is called" Place of the Execution". This photograph was taken by the depicted man (Petimezas) who had visited Kalavryta the following years.
