A Korean translated version of Qing novel 『Hongnumong』. Out of 120 books 120 volumes, volume 24, 54 and 71 are missing. On the top, with red letters, the original text is written, and next to it is an indication of Chinese pronunciation written in Korean. At the bottom is the Korean translation. The translation also bears simple footnotes on proper nouns or Chinese culture. The novel tells a story about three young people’s love and marriage and with an elegant style and detailed description, was popular during Qing dynasty, but was not very popular in Joseon.
