This building is the only material example of a palatine church existing so far in the Visigoth Kingdom. In the baptismal room the treasure trove of Visigothic period was found in 1946. The central nave was the place for the faithful, the baptized people. Two collateral ships flanked the plant and communicated directly with the transept, of which the one to the north had the function of sacristy.
