The security key YubiKey

Industrial designer Stina Ehrensvärd is an IT innovator and has co-developed several high-tech inventions.

Together with her colleagues at the company Yubico, Stina has invented in 2009 the YubiKey, a computer security key. With a simple press of a button, the key knows who is going to use the computer.

The key doesn't need any downloaded software, and it can be used with every computer, every operating system and every web browser.

The YubiKey is made in Sweden and has been sold to thousands of customers in over 60 countries.

Stina Ehrensvärd has won several international awards for her innovataions, such as the European IST Grand Prize and the Swedish IT award Guldmusen.
