The exhibition based on the brief life of Hitler Youth Paul Bayer was the first special exhibition organized by the Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Grounds in Nuremberg. An additional space, the "Small Pillared Hall" in the Congress Hall's northern front wing, was opened up for the purpose. The signage for the exhibition on Paul Bayer was attached to one of the columns. Little is known about how the various rooms in the front structure would have been used at the planned Nazi Party Congress. Most of the northern wing that now houses the Documentation Center was probably intended to be reserved as a lobby area for highly placed party officials.
