Erected in 1909 and then known as the Smokers Stand. The stand was renamed in 1912 to the Sheridan Pavilion perpetuating the legacy of the managing Trustee, Mr Philip Sheridan. Sheridan played a major role in shaping the Sydney Cricket Ground into what we know it today as being; a first class venue.
