Agnieszka Baltyn from Stockholm has invented a sorting bag for socks, it was in 2007. The socks are both washed and dried in the Pocket Wash bag. The bag is made of mesh and has six pockets that each hold one pair of socks.

Agnieszka always lost one sock when she did laundry and wondered if other people had the same problem. She did some market reserach which showed that almost everybody loses socks when they do laundry. The problem was most noticeable in families with children. In the County of Stockholm, families with children lose 200 million Swedish crowns' worth of socks every year.

Agnieszka got assistance from Almi and the Swedish Inventors' Association to develop the Pocket Wash, which was being manufactured in Thailand and sold in shops all over Sweden. Pocket Wash is a registered trademark.
