THE STRAIGHT CORSET

"This invention pertains to corsets and specifically relates to
a straight corset, with an adjustable stomach-support strap, which slims
the stomach without thickening the waist. Essentially, it consists of a
a flexible belt; that is, without boning, with lacing on either
side of the corset busk and on the front. The support and restraining
action of the belt is aided by garters at the
front and at the hips that hold the belt in place."
