The collection of coloured slides was donated to the Museum of Gdańsk by the Søndenaa siblings from Norway. The photographs were taken by their father – Sverre, a student of the Technical University of Gdańsk. Together with his wife, a resident of Gdańsk, he left the city in 1944.
