Laid out, as it now appears, by Fred and Nada Jennett for the Weston Park Foundation in the 1990s, the Teardrop Garden links the west pleasure ground with the Rose Walk. Here, a box edged bed of tearshape form contains a central statue of a weeping woman which is said to have marked the grave of a still-born child. Ornamental weeping pear trees stand around the edges of the lawn
